First Minister defends decision not to suspend Sturgeon

Opposition leaders say he is too weak to sack her, but Alex Salmond backed his position.

The First Minister is defending his decision not to suspend Nicola Sturgeon from the SNP after she was arrested at the weekend.

Humza Yousaf’s predecessor was questioned by detectives for several hours before being released without charge.
