First cruise ship docks at new Aberdeen harbour

Around 30,000 cruise visitors are expected over the course of the year

Aberdeen has welcomed the first large cruise ship to the new harbour, in what’s hoped will bring a significant economic boost to the city.

The Aida Aura arrived just before 7 o’clock this morning.

It’s hoped the sector will generate millions of pounds.
