Firefighters protest outside Holyrood over pay dispute

The Fire Brigades Union is also recommending its members reject a 5% pay offer - which has been branded 'derisory.'

Hundreds of firefighters have held a demonstration at Holyrood in protest at plans to freeze the budget for the Scottish Fire Service.

They say that will put the public at risk.
