Final Troon station redesign revealed after devastating fire

Three options were put forward - now the local community has had its say on how it should look

The final redevelopment plans for Troon railway station have been made public, after a fire tore through the building in the summer of 2021.

It’s hoped that the design and work will be finished before thousands of golf fans descend on the station for the Open next summer.
