Final design and date set for George Square redevelopment

Construction is expected to begin in January and will be completed by August 2026.

The final design has been drawn up, and work to give George Square its latest facelift is set to begin in January next year.

The project will include a water feature, a raised lawn, sheltered seating and feature lighting but will take around three years to complete.
