Fife primary pupils stepping up with first aid training

Teachers say the programme helps boosts confidence in the classroom.

Youngsters across Fife are stepping up as Mini Medics.

At Burntisland Primary, pupils are gaining hands-on experience in first aid, from CPR to helping someone who’s choking.

Teachers say the programme not only boosts confidence in the classroom, but also inspires children to pass on lifesaving skills at home.
