Fewer than half of Scots are religious, census figures show

The census also found Scotland's population would have fallen without migration.

Fewer than half of Scots identify as religious for the first time in Census history.

The latest Census results were published on Tuesday and show 51% of us don’t identify with any faith group.

The biggest, the Church of Scotland, has declined from more than 30% of the population a decade ago to around 20% now.
