Festive season returns as Edinburgh’s Christmas market opens

Last year the city welcomed more than 2.5 million people to its Christmas attractions

Edinburgh’s Christmas market is back for another year marking the official start of the festive season in the city.

Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to visit the popular attraction to enjoy a hot mulled wine, ride on the big wheel and browse the many food stalls.
