The father of a 23-year-old who died seven years after contracting an infection while being treated at Glasgow’s flagship hospital, is calling for the voice of patients and their safety to put be put at the centre of decision making.

John Cuddihy met the First Minister to discuss a series of proposals which he says will help restore public confidence in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The death of his daughter Molly is one of seven being investigated.
