Father calls for end to life ring vandalism after son’s death

Christopher Spiers was 28 when he lost his life after coming back from a night out.

A father whose son drowned in the Clyde more than eight years ago is calling for people to stop vandalising life rings on the banks of the river.

The Glasgow Humane Society is also urging people to be more vigilant on the river during the festive season.
