Sophia Smith was just 11 days old when she died at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow in 2017.
She had contracted a toxic strain of the MRSA bug.
A Fatal Accident Inquiry into her death began on Monday. Her parents say they felt “stonewalled” by the health board following their daughter’s death.
They said: “We hope that by the end of this process, we will know the truth about why our daughter’s life was so tragically and heartbreakingly short.”
