Family of those killed in Chinook crash hand petition to Downing Street

The families of 29 people killed in a helicopter crash on the Mull of Kintyre more than 30 years ago have handed a petition to Downing Street in their fight for a public inquiry.

The RAF chinook was bound for Inverness when it crashed in dense fog.

But questions remain over what caused the tragedy.

The UK Government said the crash has already been the subject of six inquiries and investigations.
