Family of man who died in custody to sue prison service

The family of a man who died in police custody at an Edinburgh prison is suing the prison service, Police Scotland and the Crown Office.

A fatal accident inquiry previously found Allan Marshall’s death, where he was restrained face down on the floor by up to 17 officers, was “entirely preventable”.
