Family launch fundraising campaign for rare genetic disorder

Caitlin Wilkie is one of only seven children in Scotland to be diagnosed

An Angus family have launched a campaign to fund research into one of the country’s rarest genetic disorders, Bardet Biedl Syndrome.

Liam and Ashley Wilkie are leading Team Scotland in a relay called, ‘Carry the Gene’, from John O’ Groats to Land’s End.
