Families urging rethink over plans to move school bus stop

Parents warn the change could put youngsters in danger.

Families in Livingston are urging authorities to reconsider plans to relocate their children’s school bus pick-up and drop-off point.

Currently, pupils from Brotherton Wood Estate are collected inside the estate, but from next week, the bus will stop on the A71 – a busy road with a 40 miles per hour limit.

Parents warn that the change could put youngsters in danger.
