Families protest against cuts to services for vulnerable adults

Bosses say no decisions have been made yet

They’re a lifeline service for vulnerable adults in Renfrewshire but there is concern over a proposed merger of two day centres for people with learning disabilities.

The area’s Health and Social Care Partnership is considering the move as it tries to plug a £14.7 million gap in its budget.

At a protest outside the council’s headquarters today, parents warned the plans would have a devastating impact.
