Families of murdered women call for change to parole law

It would see parole denied to killers who refuse to disclose the whereabouts of their victim's body.

“If he gets out, the truth will be gone forever “.

That’s the fear voiced by the sister of Arlene Fraser, who has joined the campaign alongside the family of Suzanne Pilley for changes to the parole system.

Both women were murdered, and their bodies were never found.

Their families have spoken of the constant mental torture of not knowing where their loved ones’ remains are.

With both killers soon eligible for parole, the families met with the justice secretary to seek a commitment for the introduction of Suzanne’s Law.
