Families brand cuts to sheltered housing ‘soul-destroying’

The proposals are part of a plan to help close a £20m gap over the next three years.

Families and residents at a sheltered housing complex in Denny say proposed cuts to care services there are “soul-destroying”.

The Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership confirmed it will no longer be providing the same staffing at the Tygetshaugh Court complex in Dunipace.

It’s part of a plan to help close a £20m gap over the next three years.

For residents there’s a fear about what that could mean for their care.
