Falkirk sports facilities to be cut in council budget bid

Local people say they are distraught at the thought of having nothing left

More than 100 facilities in the Falkirk Area are set to close or be transferred to community ownership in an effort to cut council costs.

The Grangemouth Stadium and Polmont Ski Slope are just two of the venues that are affected.
