Ewing brands decision not to speed up A9 project as ‘disappointing’

The Scottish Parliament will debate the issue tomorrow.

A former Scottish Government cabinet secretary has branded the refusal to accelerate work on the dualling of the A9 as ‘deeply disappointing’.

Fergus Ewing’s comments come as a new report advised against accelerating the project to dual the road between Perth and Inverness.
