Fife Council has admitted it’s worried about the impact a shortage of specialist engineers is having on its ability to secure flood-hit towns.
The region is said to be one of a number of authorities struggling to recruit and retain staff.
‘Everything’s just muddied and ruined’ This is the damage sustained to their home in Cupar in the aftermath of Storm Gerrit. The damage left them out of their property for eight months.
