Energy minister criticised over climate change plans

Scotland had pledged to reduce emission by 75% by 2030

Scotland’s energy minister has been accused of rehashing inadequate plans to combat climate change.

The comments were made after he announced the draft Energy Strategy which aims to make Scotland Net Zero by 2045.

However, just last month the Climate Change Committee said the Government lacked a clear plan and Scotland was on track to fall short of many of its targets.
