Electric car maker eyeing Peterhead for new factory

Over 800 jobs could be created if a company producing hydrogen powered cars sets up a plant in the North East.

That’s the claim from car manufacturer ‘Riversimple’ – who say they’re actively exploring a hub in Aberdeen. But the move relies on the area winning Freeport status – a decision which is being considered by the UK Government.
