A huge inland surfing resort being built in Edinburgh is set to make big waves when it opens next September.
The Lost Shore resort in Ratho will be the biggest of its kind in Europe – and will use specialist technology to produce up to 1,000 customisable waves every hour.
It’s hoped the facility in Ratho will be a big draw for tourists and encourage more people to take up the sport.
