Edinburgh Olympian to swim Channel in record attempt

Dan Wallace and five other team mates are aiming to break the record for fastest relay time

An Edinburgh Olympic medallist is swimming the English Channel this week in a world-record attempt at the fastest relay time.

Dan Wallace, who won silver in Brazil in 2016, will take on the 21 miles with his team, in order to raise money for Cancer Research and Ukraine Relief fund.

STV News went along to see how preparations are going.
