Edinburgh nursery leading way on eco-friendly childcare

The almost 50 children here have become used to an ethos of reduce, reuse and recycle

For most nurseries, education and looking after young children is the priority – and sometimes environmental considerations can be secondary.

But Hope Cottage in Edinburgh is managing to combine both after ditching plastic and focusing on recycling.
