Edinburgh cruise ship used to house Ukrainian refugees

Move hoped to be a temporary measure until permanent accommodation is found

A cruise ship in Edinburgh is being used as temporary accommodation to house Ukrainian refugees. The ship has been chartered by the Scottish government as a solution to the growing accommodation crisis which prompted a pause to the Ukrainian refugee sponsorship scheme. The first group have now boarded the MS Victoria in Leith.
