Edinburgh council opposes cruise ship asylum seekers plan

The Home Office has now outlined plans to move 700 asylum seekers onboard

Edinburgh city council has written to the UK government in opposition of using a Leith cruise ship to accommodate asylum seekers.

The MS Victoria has been home to Ukrainian refugees for a year with the contract set to end next month.
