Edinburgh Council chiefs defend North Bridge restoration project

The category-A structure is now due to reopen in 2025 and it's costing more than £62m.

Edinburgh City Council chiefs are defending the over-budget and delayed plans to restore the capital’s historic North Bridge.

Saying it’s an increasingly complex, but landmark project, which could one day host a new tram route.
