Edinburgh becomes first Scottish city to ban pavement parking

All councils across the country are able to bring in similar measures after new legislation was passed

Edinburgh has become the first city in Scotland to enforce a ban on pavement parking.

Legislation came into affect last month, but today was the first time parking attendants have been given the greenlight to hand out fines of up to £100.
