Economy shrinks in quickest return to recession since 1975

The latest figures show the economy shrank in the 3 months to September

The Chancellor is warning he will be making eye watering decisions as the economy appears to be heading into recession.

It means companies are not performing as well which could lead to higher unemployment and spending cuts.
