The pressure on households and businesses continues to pile on, as inflation hits a 30-year high. Fuel and food prices have risen by 7% and that’s before energy bills spike which is expected to make prices rise even more.
The spiralling costs have led to some chefs warning that eating out will soon become unaffordable – and some restaurants are already fighting for their survival.
