East End school pupils tending to horses as part of police project

The programme's mastermind has served in the East End for 18 years.

Schoolchildren in Glasgow’s East End have been learning how to take care of horses – all the while, building confidence in themselves and the police.

Sergeant Lauren Semple started the programme to build bridges between the force and young people.
