Staff at Dundee University say they’ve been “misled” over the threat of compulsory redundancies – as members of the institution’s UCU branch begin a week-long strike.
The union has argued that an agreement was in place to limit job losses to voluntary, if millions of pounds worth of government funding was granted.
But last month, the interim principal told Parliament “assumptions had been made” about how many jobs could be saved.
