The number of job losses facing staff at Dundee University has been more than halved.
There are now 300 posts at risk as the institution tackles a £35m funding gap, with the threat of immediate compulsory redundancies also suspended.
There was a public and political outcry when plans to axe up to 700 jobs were revealed last month.
Unions say it’s a “relief” – but more assurances are needed.
