Dundee sewage pipe leak polluting into the River Tay

It has meant that some beaches in the area are a no go for swimmers

Work is underway to fix a leaking waste pipe in Dundee which has led to sewage being pumped into the River Tay.

People are being advised not to swim at Broughty Ferry or Monifieth, as there’s a risk to bathing water quality.
