A man who killed a mother and her toddler in Dundee said he was “apocalyptically angry” as he hit the woman over the back of the head with a hammer.
Andrew Innes said he attacked Bennylyn Burke after thinking “crazy things” because she resembled his wife and a former lover who he said had both betrayed him.
The 52 year old told the court he was insane and never thought about calling the police.
