Dunblane 30 years on: ‘It’s a wound that’s there forever’

On March 13 1996, 16 pupils and their teacher were shot dead at Dunblane Primary School

It’s been 30 years since sixteen children and their teacher were killed by a gunman during their morning gym lesson at Dunblane Primary School.

In the weeks and months that followed, the bereaved parents and their community campaigned tirelessly to successfully ban private ownership of handguns in the UK.

I sat down with Mick North, who lost his daughter Sophie in the traged,y for this special report
