Drone trials under way delivering medical supplies in rural areas

But more testing is needed to get the scheme off the ground.

Pilots are trialling the use of drones to deliver vital medical equipment to better deal with Scotland’s rural landscape.

Experimental flights are taking off this week – and could see items such as defibrillators dispatched in an emergency.
