Dracula play takes to Aberdeen stage with female protagonist

'Dracula, Mina's Reckoning' is also set in Aberdeenshire which is said to have inspired the original

It’s one of the best known novels in English Literature.

‘Dracula’ has thrilled horror fans for generations and inspired many stage adaptations since it was written in 1897.

Now, another version of Bram Stoker’s novel is taking to the stage in Aberdeen.

Performed by the National Theatre of Scotland, ‘Dracula, Mina’s Reckoning’ places a female protaganist at its core, and is set in Aberdeenshire.
