Dozens of padel courts set to open as sport rises in popularity

There are around 15,000 padel players in Scotland and plans are afoot to build more courts.

Wimbledon might be in full swing but you may have noticed tennis isn’t the only racket sport gaining popularity at the moment.

The sport of padel has been on the rise – with more than 60 courts expected in Scotland by the end of the year.
