Dog dies after ingesting pipe cleaner used in school project

The council says it's working with schools to prevent it from happening again.

A dog in Dundee has died after ingesting a pipe cleaner used in a design by local primary school pupils for a birdfeeder project.

A number of the fibre-covered wires, wrapped with food, have been spotted on the grounds of Baxter Park.

The council says it’s working with schools to prevent it from happening again.
