Doctors cast doubt that police officer was stamped on in Sheku Bayoh case

Bayoh lost consciousness and died after being restrained.

Several doctors have told a public inquiry a police officer did not show any signs of having been stamped on – despite the PC’s colleagues claiming Sheku Bayoh had done so.

Two of the medics had examined Nicole Short on the day of the incident in Kirkcaldy seven years ago. Mr Bayoh lost consciousness and died after being restrained. Gordon Chree reports.
