Demolition begins on estate dubbed ‘Scotland’s Chernobyl’

The Clune Park estate in Port Glasgow has been all but abandoned for decades.

Known for being one of the most run-down areas in the west of Scotland, demolition of the Clune Park estate in Port Glasgow has finally started.

The area has been all but abandoned for decades, and the council recently ordered the last few residents living in the derelict buildings to leave for good.
