Clune Park estate in Port Glasgow has been a wasteland of tenements which have been derelict and run into major disrepair.
This afternoon, Inverclyde Council rubber-stamped the decision to demolish some of the homes, which are unsafe and uninhabitable.
A handful of residents still live there, but it’s hoped a new neighbourhood can be built now the plans to tear the homes down have been given the green light.
