It’s the largest undeveloped oil field in the North Sea but now it’s emerged a decision on the controversial Rosebank project could be delayed.
It had been expected that the project would be given the go-ahead before Westminster’s summer recess, but reports suggest that’s now unlikely.
But campaigners believe it shows the UK Government is struggling to give the go-ahead to the field as it tries to meet climate targets.
