Decision not to offer Covid booster ‘disastrous’ say unpaid carers

Unpaid carers have told STV News the decision not to offer them the Covid booster this winter will be “disastrous” for the vulnerable people they look after and the NHS.

More than 400 carers and organisations have signed a letter to the First Minister asking him to reverse the decision. They say it’s a “short-sighted” money-saving exercise that will cost more in the long-term.
