Decision expected on plans to remove parkland for Energy Trade Zone

On Thursday, Aberdeen City Council's planning committee will be considering the application.

A decision on whether to remove parts of St Fittick’s Park in Aberdeen to make way for the new Energy Transition Zone is due this week.

Campaigners have been calling for the proposals to be scrapped and say eliminating green spaces in the city is unjust.

ETZ Limited says it’ll be investing in the area and creating hundreds of new jobs.
