Death of young man in police custody preventable, rules Sheriff

STV News spoke to Warren's mother, Sharon, about her fight for justice.

A mother says she’s been to hell and back after waiting ten years to find out if her son’s death could’ve been prevented.

Warren Fenty, 20, died from a drugs overdose at Kittybrewster Police Station in Aberdeen in 2014.

As part of Scotland’s longest running fatal accident inquiry, a sheriff has ruled his death may have been avoided, and there had been ‘institutional failure’ by Police Scotland.
