Campaigners say more needs to be done to address the attainment gap for deaf students

With pupils now back at school, figures show deaf children in Scotland are still more likely than their peers to achieve less in their exam results or leave school without any qualifications.

Charities say there’s now a “shocking shortfall” in support for deaf students, and are calling on the Scottish Government to take action.
